Oakley Union Elementary College District Announces the Variety of New Superintendent

Oakley, CA — The Oakley Union Elementary University District (OUESD) Board of Trustees is happy to announce the selection of Jeffery Palmquist as the district’s new superintendent, productive August 22, 2021.

“We were extremely thrilled to have an exceptional subject of candidates for the Superintendent placement. With the assistance of a workers, parent and local community member panel, Mr. Palmquist emerged as the  proper suit to guide our district.” Board Trustee President Lynell Fuller reported. “Although numerous qualified  candidates used, the board felt that Mr. Palmquist’s encounter, management and devotion to  college students and team associates would very best serve OUESD learners, staff members, and the neighborhood for many years to arrive.”

Palmquist is beginning his 25th year of services in general public training, commencing his career in the San  Joaquin County Office of Education Court and Community School Method. He has served as a teacher, an assistant principal, a college principal, an affiliate superintendent.

For the previous a few years as Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Instruction at Lodi Unified University District. In this capability, Palmquist was involved with making innovative application for higher college students and oversaw the District’s center faculty, substantial school, and different college plans, as well as the Kid Welfare and Attendance Division. Palmquist is a native of the Delta location, exclusively the Lodi/Stockton region. He is a graduate of the College of California, Santa Barbara, wherever he obtained his Bachelor of Arts and gained his Master’s in Instruction from Countrywide University. Palmquist also retains a instructing credential from the University of the Pacific and is a Medical professional of Education Candidate at the University of Wyoming.

Mr. Palmquist will succeed Mr. Greg Hetrick. Hetrick is retiring this month right after 5 years of  exemplary assistance as the District’s Superintendent and far more than 30 several years in education and learning.
