MWCC will get $1.1 million grant to enable adult college students additional education

GARDNER — Mount Wachusett Neighborhood Higher education has been given extra than $1.1 million from the state to help adult college students in the community in furthering their training.

The Adult and Neighborhood Understanding Companies (ACLS) device of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has awarded MWCC a grant totaling $1,108,106 to support basic techniques education and learning, occupational training and post-secondary enrollment for adult learners in the region.

The Adult Education and learning Services Continuation grant of $958,106 funds absolutely free accessibility for suitable undereducated and restricted English proficient adults, age 16 and older, to grownup essential education and learning companies in 16 Workforce Expense Regions.
