CALS Honorary Recognition celebration established for Oct. 21

Soon after a year’s postponement, 2020 honorees will be acknowledged at the University of Wisconsin–Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) yearly banquet and ceremony on October 21, 2021, in Union South.

At the in-particular person function, the university will existing its Honorary Recognition Award to Mitch Breunig and Al Gunderson its Distinguished Provider Award to Elton D. Aberle and its Distinguished Alumni Award to Max Rothschild and Claire Huschka Sink.

No new awardees have been selected for 2021.

These awards are the optimum honors bestowed by the university, and just one of its longest held traditions. The Honorary Recognition Award, now in its 111th calendar year, acknowledges people who have manufactured sizeable contributions to their professions, their communities and the college.
